Basement Storage Room with Shelving

Basement Storage Room FinishedToday I finished our new storage room in the basement. This storage room was needed badly so we could organize all of our stuff that has been piling up in the basement. Two of the walls have these 24 inch deep shelves spaced approximately 30 inches apart.

I still plan on building a large book case in this room to store all my wifes old teaching supplies and my engineering books. I’ll do a series of posts on how to build a set of book shelves.

If you’re interested in learning more about insulating basement walls check out my previous posts, Finished Basement Insulation – Step 1, Basement Insulation and Framing Update, and Basement Storage Room.
