Custom Mantel – Part 4

I finally got back to working on the mantel this weekend. As you can see I’ve finally finished building both legs for the mantel. I screwed both legs to the wall in locations that will be covered by other pieces of moulding.
Once the two legs were in place I started building the mantel shelf. The shelf will be built up with several layers of mouldings and 5/4 stock. For now I’ll be in a waiting mode until my special order WindsorONE mouldings arrive.
Stop back in a week or so to see the progress.
