Gorilla Gripper 44010 Panel Carrier

Gorilla GripperCarrying large sheet goods is hard on your back and arms. Anyone that tries carrying a sheet of plywood or drywall around by themselves knows that it’s not only a strain on your back but it’s really easy to run into things and cause damage. That’s why I think the Gorilla Gripper is a fantastic tool for any handyman or contractor.

Clamping Power

The Gorilla Gripper allows you to clamp onto any sheet material that is 3/8 inch to 1-1/8 inch thick. As you lift the sheet goods up the weight of the piece increases the clamping force. As you can see in the photo the Gorilla Gripper allows you to carry the sheet easily and in a manner that allows you to see where you’re going.

I bought one of these and I have to say it is quite handy if you work on your own. I can lift a 4×8 3/4 ply board and carry it on my own without much trouble.

It doesn’t work much beyond the angle they show the guy carrying the plywood with though and if you try to maneuver your ply up or in pretty much any carrying position other than what they show the grip will fail but I still use it and I find it quite valuable.

Oh very handy! Finally a way to carry sheets by yourself. I like it!
