New Harvey Tribute Windows

picture of Harvey Tribute Double Hung WindowWe are starting to install the new Harvey Tribute windows in the new house we’re building for a customer. The Harvey Tribute windows are an upgraded vinyl window that Harvey is now offering with some great new architectural details and energy efficient options.

These Harvey Tribute windows were ordered with several upgrades. The windows feature triple pane glass with low-E glass coatings along with krypton gas between the panes. These windows feature a 0.20 U factor which is really great for energy efficiency.

These windows were also ordered with the optional solid white vinyl casing (3″ wide) with the sill nose. This is one of the best features you can buy in my opinion. This casing feature allows for a very aesthetically pleasing appearance and it includes a built-in J-channel for the siding.

In the coming days I’ll be posting information on how to install these windows including proper flashing details. I’ll also post some pictures of some larger mulled window units with the optional casing detail.
