Roof Snow Rake Review

roof snow rakeIf you live in a snowy climate then you no doubt need to own a roof snow rake. Last year I wrote a post about removing snow from your roof to prevent ice damns and structural damage. So I thought it was a good time to remind everyone about buying a good quality roof snow rake before the snow gets here!

I own the Ames True Temper 1634500 Roof Snow Rake and it has worked really great for me. I like these roof snow rakes because they are light and easy to use. The main shaft is constructed of a light weight aluminum tube and the rake blade is made out of a light weight plastic. The handle snaps together with some simple spring loaded pins so you can take it apart for storage. All you have to do is snap it all together and then pull the snow off your roof. With this roof snow rake you can reach up to 17 feet.

So take the time to buy your roof snow rake before winter gets here. Otherwise if we get a heavy snow storm you may be out of luck at your local hardware store. You can buy the same roof snow rake I have at Amazon by following this link: Ames True Temper 1634500 Roof Snow Rake.
