Count me in! :) We love solar lights, and would use these to light up the plastic flamingos we have in our front yard. That would be a ton of fun!
As I mentioned before:
I would like to light our curved pathway. Pretty standard use I know. However, considering our pathway to our front door is relatively short, 3 solar lights would work out perfectly. And considering right now, the solar lights that are there, DO NOT work well, I would love to replace them with something of a higher caliber!!!
Plus, it helps light the way for those who decide to leave late at night (ummmm, not mentioning any names, but last night it’d been perfect for my mother-in-laws late night departure).
oh wow! i would love to win these for my 2 grandsons age 21/2 and 5 (we raise due to sickness). We live in the country and They love to go outdoors at night and look for ”creatures”..They love finding frogs, moths, katydids, etc.right now they just have the small porch light and sight is limited, this would allow them to see much more and with safety .This would be great for them,i hope i win these for them!
thanks for a great contest!!!!have a great night.
i would like to win them so i can use them to help me make my own flouting island that will be all solar powered. thanks for you time.

We had four sets of Malibu solar garden lights a few years ago before Hurricane Katrina and the Gulf of Mexico washed them away. We actually found about seven of them over a period of months and cleaned them up.. and believe it or not — some of them actually worked for a few weeks until the corrosion from the salt water ate away all of the important parts.
We’re still so busy working all day (and still haven’t gotten around to repairing the standard outdoor floodlights – which, ironically, flooded)that the only time we get have to sit in the garden is well after dark…. Now if only we could see it… :)
Wow, I just discovered this blog! I’m going to add it to my reader right away.
I would love to win the solar lights for the new house we’re moving into next Wednesday. It’s a fixer upper so the exterior isn’t the most interesting but I think with a couple up lights it might actually look good at night. Oh, and I’ve always wanted to light a tree with an up light so I might try to do that to the tree in our front yard.
(I’m signing in under my art/creative blog but I’m working on creating a home remodeling blog to document the extensive renovations we plan to do ourselves.)
I live in Washington DC and I desperately need these lights to keep politicians and other creepy crawlers off of my lawn. They’re worse in election years and guess which year this is. These lights look strong enough to even keep pollsters away. Peace of mind is what these babies offer.
Pick me! Pick me! I would focus one on my trussed up peiris (see my “tree in bondage” post, one on my twisty-trunked Delavay Tea Olive and one on the rose trellis. It would be a wonderful addition to the lovely old garden I am working to restore.
Thanks for the contest!
You got my entry on your first post about this, right? :)
I will be selecting a winner this weekend for anyone that left a comment by May 1st. I’ll give everyone the winner as soon as I make the selection (random draw by my 3 yr old!).
Am I too late?
I would use them to replace the temporary wired light we have. The cord is running through a window (that now won’t shut). I need the light in my backyard to let the dogs out to play at night.
And the winner is…..

Cool! I would love to use these lights to shine on our flags that we proudly display.

I am getting ready to try and install my own water feature. It is going to have a children’s theme, and i think that these type of solar flood lights would work great as our light source for our water pond. That way i would not have to worry about having to have some sort of electrical lighting around our water feature. The solar flood lights would be perfect around our pond. The solar lights are a very good design.I would very much like to win these solar flood lights.I would put them around our water feature so that everyone could see it as they drive by our yard.I really hope, and my grandchildren also hope that we win the solar flood lights. THANKS and GOOD LUCK! to EVERYONE
