Back From Vacation

My wife and I just returned from a much needed vacation in the Cayman Islands. It was a much needed vacation away from our jobs and the little ones. Now that I’m back it’s time to get back to home improvement projects around our house and some great topics in the coming months. Some of the projects we have planned are:

Home Improvement Projects

• Applying epoxy paint to our garage floor.
• Re-sealing our cambara decking with a product called One Time. The folks at Bond Distributing have asked me to take the One Time Challenge in an effort to compare traditional wood sealers to their One Time sealer which offers a 7 year warranty. I’m game for the challenge because the first product I used did not perform well at all.
• Planting our new raised bed vegetable gardens.
• Installing a generator disconnect for backup power.
• Planting decorative trees along our driveway. This will be a sponsored project from The Home Depot which will show you how to plant trees around your home.
