Long Lasting Vinyl Beadboard Porch Ceilings

Last year we wrote an article about using vinyl beadboard for porch ceilings. That article has been quite popular with lots of folks emailing us asking questions about how to install this product and quite a few questions about using PVC Trim for the porch carrying beam.

Reader Uses Vinyl Beadboard Also

porch ceilings 9 Vinyl Beadboard CeilingsOne of those readers, Shelly, wrote to us several times asking for some technical advice on her porch remodeling project. As usual we gladly helped out and wanted to share a quick picture from her porch that also uses vinyl beadboard for the ceiling and PVC trim along the support beam.

In the adjacent photo you can see her beautifully transformed porch using vinyl beadboard for the ceiling and PVC trim along the support beam. If you’d like to see more of her transformation head on over to Front Porch Ideas and More where they recently featured Shelly’s transformation in their Porch Ceilings section.

Front Porch Ideas and More is a great site if you’re looking for some inspiration for your next new porch or fixing up an older porch. If you’ve recently renovated a porch or built a cool new one we’d love to see it and share it with our readers.

Thanks Todd! As you can see, I blatantly stole your boxed beam design. It just worked out best that way, with no wasted material. I also liked the look – now we don’t have to add spandrels!
