Lifting Straps Replace Dollies

Forearm Lifting Straps

Forearm lifting straps have pretty much replaced dollies when it comes to moving furniture and large bulky items. If you’ve had any appliances delivered to your home then you’ve seen these great lifting straps in action. I haven’t seen a delivery or moving guy use a dolly at all in the last 5 years.

These lifting straps not only make it easier to lift heavy objects but they allow you to lift heavy objects in a much safer way. The Above All Co. L74995CN Forearm Forklift Lifting Straps are a must have for anyone’s workshop. The lifting straps feature:

  • Forearm Forklift lifting straps; OSHA certified; reduces weight of objects carried 66 percent
  • Allows you to carry large objects at a low center of gravity; adjustable; 600 pound capacity
  • Heavy-duty nylon; bonded thread at each joint
  • 2 straps included
  • 112 inches long; 1 pound per pair

We recently purchased a set of the lifting straps to help move a large 32″ CRT television. They worked great and made the job so much easier. You just need to be careful you read the directions and understand how to cross the belts under the furniture so they won’t slip off.

You can also buy lifting straps at Home Depot, Lowes and other hardware stores. If you own a home I recommend you buy these instead of a dolly for moving things around your home. They are cheaper and take up far less room!
