New Monoglide Hand Shower from American Standard

The Stylish New Monoglide Hand Shower from American Standard Offers Multiple Functions with a Single Button

A Non-Slip Gliding Button Puts the Choice of Four Spray Patterns Under Your Thumb

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (November 15, 2010) — With the introduction of the Monoglide™ Hand Shower, American Standard Brands provides the convenience of a four-function hand shower through the simple action of sliding a button. Changing the spray pattern while showering no longer involves twisting and turning with wet, soapy hands, but merely pushing a non-slip button located on the handgrip and out of the water stream. Customizing your preferred shower experience was never quicker or easier.

The Monoglide’s unique non-slip sliding button changes the spray pattern by simply toggling from one setting to the next. Located on the handgrip away from the water stream, the button turns selecting any shower function into a true one-hand operation — there’s no twisting and slipping with wet, soapy hands, and no getting sprayed in the face while trying to adjust the spray.

With four spray pattern options available — a wide full spray; soft drenching aerated spray; therapeutic massage spray; and power mist spray — fully personalizing the individual hand shower experience is both instant and effortless.

The stylish, one-hand ergonomic design makes the Monoglide flexible, easy to use, and especially helpful for bathing children or pets. The gliding button is a boon for the elderly or anyone with arthritis, and the shower face is designed for easy cleaning.

The Monoglide Hand Shower is offered in two flow-rate options: a standard model with a 2.5 gallons per minute (gpm) flow rate; and a water-saving model with a 2.0 gpm flow rate, which represents an impressive 20 percent savings in water consumption. Each model is available in polished chrome or satin nickel, durable signature finishes that coordinate with other American Standard® bathroom products. With a suggested retail price of $65, the Monoglide Hand Shower is very competitively priced in its category.
