The company plans to increase product offerings in its popular Therma-Tru® Doors line of fiberglass exterior door systems while also enhancing its Fypon® line of interior and exterior synthetic millwork products.

Therma-Tru Doors, the nation’s leading manufacturer and most preferred brand of fiberglass and steel exterior door systems, moves into 2011 with the launch of several new exterior fiberglass door options and vented sidelites. Fypon, the nation’s leading manufacturer of decorative millwork elements for the interior and exterior of homes, provides high-performance synthetic products that are impervious to decay, insect infestation and water damage.
Headquartered out of Maumee, Ohio, Therma-Tru Corp. is part of the Home & Security business of Fortune Brands, Inc. (NYSE: FO). Fortune Brands announced in December of 2010 that it intends to spin off to shareholders the Home & Security business as an independent, publicly-traded company.

Additional strategic growth steps for Therma-Tru Corp. in 2011 include the further consolidation of the Fypon brand into the Therma-Tru business. Improved delivery effectiveness and operational excellence are expected as the distribution activities for both brands are consolidated into one facility in Howe, Indiana during the first half of 2011.
